DELECTABLES WITH DAN: CHRISTMAS EDITION DAY SEVEN ππ❄️☃π π»
Hello, fellow delecablists! Today, we're going to take a break with
sweet treats and focus on a holiday themed pizzalicious delicacy.
You can use a holiday bake pan like I'm using here or you can roll
your pizza dough out like you would the gingerbread dough we did
yesterday and cut out holiday shapes with them.
Goddamn, it I just love this little Christmas bake pan. You can use it to make
mini breads, cake pops, cookie pops and so many more things! I'm not even sure
you can get them anymore! You'll want to grease these with a squirt of baking
spray to keep things from sticking and ruining your pizza dippers when you
go to remove them.
We'll want to start off with preparing the dipping sauce so it will flavour up lovely
during the cooking and semi-cool period. You can use a store bought one, but what I did
was use tomato puree, tomato paste, some garlic salt (I usually use fresh garlic, but I didn't have
any, I forgot to write it on the shop list.) and some basil and oregano. You'll want to combined all
your ingredients into a medium sized saucepan, stir well, and then leave on low heat to warm up.
You'll want to stir it a few times at even intervals of time.
And yes, that is my Dan and Phil Stand up to Cancer bracelet that I got as a replacement from
the Dan and Phil shop! :D Thank you so much guys and everyone involved in making this happen for me!
While your sauce has started to flavour up, you'll want to take this time to prepare
your going to put in them. I just did pepperoni, but you can use chopped mini pieces
of ground beef or sausage or just plain with cheese inside. You'll want to dice your pepperoni
into little pieces, they don't need to be even in size.
Now that you've got all your fillings prepared, you're going to take your dough out
and roll it out on a cutting board. Make sure that you flour the surface of the board before you lay the dough down, because you don't want it sticking all over the fucking place. You're going to cut them into even strips, not too thin, not too thick. Or if you're using the cutters, you're going to want to space them evenly into the dough and use up any remaining dough with the rest of your cutters. :)
You'll want to grease your bake tray so they don't stick to it.
If you're using the bake tray like me, you'll want to cut your strips
you made and push the dough into the tray, making sure that the
entire bottom half is covered in a thinnish layer of dough. Then
once you've done that with all 8 of the sections, add your mozzarella
and fillings you've selected!
You'll place them into bake at 190C (375F) for about 30-25 minutes or until the crusts
are golden brown. Right before you pull them out of the oven, you'll want to take your
sauce you've seasoned heated and ladle a small amount into a bowl so that your pizza
dippers can be dipped in it! :D Plate them after letting them sit for about 5 minutes and serve!
