Tattoo Talk Thursday: Preparing To Finish My Throat!

Hey, Guys!
And welcome back to another
Tattoo Talk Thursdays! 
Before anyone asks, I've got the piercing q and a 
in the works, so no need to worry about that.
Starting this at 3.20 in the morning with Puddle of 
Mudd blaring is probably the only way I could do this.
Well, no. I suppose I could have some Fall Out Boy on
or some Rammstein. The neighbours must love me. HAHA.
No, I've got my earbuds in so they can sleep and the dog
won't wake up and go mental. 

Today on Tattoo Talk Thursdays, I'm going to share with you
guys the second part of my throat tattoo! Yes, I am going to cover
up the script at the base of my throat eventually, but I still haven't
worked out what I want. Cover-Ups can he hard and irritating, so
think before you ink! I've sketched out a few things I know would hide
the old design and would cover it, but none I'm really sold on.

What I am sold on its getting a lovely vibrant blooming lotus with
some kanji through it. And yeah, I know what you're going to say.
"Dan/Anja, don't you have enough lotuses?" Well, no. First off one can
never have too many, and second, they're in all different styles and colours.
The colours represent something different in all the tattoos. You can even check
out the colour meanings in the link below! 

I know the artwork is titled. I did this on purpose so that no one could take 
the design off the blog. It's something I really want to share with you guys
and have you see the finished project. The actual artwork for the tattoo isn't 
crooked. I know how conceited that must sound. >_< After the tattoo is finished
I will to a from drawing to tattoo bit, showing a proper image of the tattoo 
and the drawing. Just don't want anyone getting it before me! 
The tattoo is going to be a rich blue with hints of gold, the leaves will be a pale
green also with hints of gold. I'm also thinking grey might be nice for the leaves.
The kanji, of course, will be black. I want it to be the perfect centrepiece to the 
neck ink that I plan to add in the fall whilst on tour. I'm thinking about getting some
ink whilst in Canada, but I don't know that to get! I'll probably have a few ideas by then.
I always seem to don't I?  
I'm heading all the way over to see my good mate Chad, God, we met back when the Big
Bang happened and it's been good times ever since. I don't care about the cost of travel
because I know he's the guy to do the piece. When we're finished, if he'd like I'll link
his artwork and contact info below! 
I'm getting it done on 30 January, not only to have it mesh nicely
with the release of "Little By Little" but because it's also Phil's
30th birthday! Hurrah! Two perfect things to celebrate! :D 
Little by Little will be available via Blurb (all world versions) and
Amazon (all world versions). Links will be posted in due time. The 
first 20 orders will get a piece of gothic, signed artwork from me!
You can also pre-order through me, no cash until the actual publishing
date, I just take down your name and address and make sure it's sent
to you the day the book launches. I've already sent a bunch of the pieces 
to the US so they can be shipped as I'm only doing this through Blurb and 
they are a US-based company. You don't have to be from the US to buy
the book or to get a piece of the artwork. Comment to me via one of
