Touch My Needle: Danny gets his Dahlias Redone

It's been about 6 years since I had to remove my Dahlias when I went to hospital and I'm finally ready to jump back in and put them back in. Obviously, the holes have long since healed. I actually was thinking about cheek piercings, but then I thought about all the complications that can happen with them, I decided against them. So here I am, back putting more steel through my face as a way to show the world my self-worth. LOL No, I'm doing it because I like it. I know my mum will have something to say when she wheels into my drive and sees me. She's always got something to say.

I don't know why I've decided to put them back in at this very moment, but there is just something inside of me telling me to do it, so here we are. Tattoo Royale. I've been pierced here before several times. (Shop information linked below) I only have to wait a few minutes before Jay comes out and calls my name. "Dan?" I hop up, the excitement draining from my head to my toes. I sit on the bench and he looks at the piercing holes. "I've had them pierced before for about 3 years, they've been out for about 6 now." He doesn't look too concerned. "I may not have to re-pierce you at all." He takes out a guiding needle and begins to press it into the scarred indent where my dahlias used to be. It starts to go through and I'm amazed.

I'm loving having them back in. I don't really know I just wanted something a little different. I'm already starting a new life, so why not give me something that enhances me while pays a little bit of a tribute from how far I've come. I thought it would be neat to put them back and see how much I've changed from the first time that I had them in. I've been thinking a lot about change lately and how over time things can be so dramatically different, even if it's a small period. More on that in the next few sequences.....
