I wish that when I was a child,
they wouldn’t have taught me to fear the dark.
I wish they would have taught me that the light
hides the most painful truth and the cruelest of people.
I wish that when I was a child,
they would have told me that we are built to fall apart.
I wish they would have taught me that I would need to
find the piece of myself that will become scattered across
space and time.
And when it is dark enough,
stars will blossom in this seemingly endless black.
They will light the way for me to return home.

„Die junge Frau“
And there was a beautiful woman.
Her skin was as pale as fresh fallen snow.
Her hair black as the midwinter sky in which
she was born under.
It cascaded down her shoulders,
like a magnificent waterfall.
Her eyes a brilliant, yet cool blue, radiated
through ones soul.
I loved when her cheeks would become
cherry intend with her embarrassment,
only adding to the beauty of her shyness .
I shall remain forever allured by your secrets,
forever grasping at the air,
forever wishing to hold you strong and true.
„Acoustic Dreams“
Love me as the world falls asleep.
Remember me in times of loneliness
and bitter regret.
Fill me with all the wonders and
bitterness of your life,
for I ache to see the world as
you do .
What I wouldn’t give to run my hands over your translucent frame.
To feel the sugary and salty layers of your kiss.
To wrap myself in the ideals of you,
and swim forever in the cerulean waters of your eyes.
He was born in the heart of winter, but has the warmest heart of
any man I’ve ever seen.
He’s the rain to my thunder;
enticing and cooling.
He grazed my hand as I was falling down to Nevermind and
gave me the strength to pull myself up.
Like the seasons, he’s beautiful and complex.
He’s awakened a serenity inside of me that everyone before has
failed to draw forth.
And when he whispers to me his own woes and stinging sadness,
I whisper back to him, „Sell me your loneliness and I’ll replace them
with dreams. Sell me your sadness and I’ll replace it with unburdened
joy.“
