Dan the DoodleBug 2 ✏️🎨✏️🎨✏️

Hey, guys!
Since my last 'Dan the DoodleBug' seemed to be a hit, I've decided to do another for you guys! You can always keep up with my latest artwork via my social medias. The links are all below! 🙊 Have any pieces you'd like to see featured or have some art requests? Comment or submit them via my social medias!

This one I did for a tattoo. The client wanted a portrait of Ben Franklin with some roses and filigree worked into it with the text "Naughty Boy". The text is a tip of the hat to all ol' Ben's conquests with the fine French ladies.

I did this one "Dornenkrone" which translates from German to "Crown of Thorns" in English, for an art print. I love drawing skulls and I wanted to do something a little different than my usual skull sketches. I love that I added little vampire teeth to the sketch. I sold a few of them on some merch products on RedBubble. You can check out the link to my RedBubble below if you're interested.

I've done a lot of portrait work, so I wanted to try my hand at some realistic pieces as well. I'd never seen any currency sketches before so I went with Euros as I think I was in Finland at the time I did this piece. (I'm working on a pound one that I'll probably post in one of the Dan the Doodlebug segments.) Just two rolls of 50 bank notes and a roll of 100 bank notes. Simples.

This is one of my more recent pieces. As some of you may know, I'm a massive fan of the original Willy Wonka fan! I want to get a tattoo to commemorate the memories and the film, so I sketched up something that captures the essence of the film and the memories associated with it. It's a take on the simple Valentine's heart, filled with a Wonka chocolate bar and of course, the Golden Ticket! Please do not copy this design without permission. I'd be happy to sketch you your own Wonka themed tattoo if you'd like something like this.

A Victorian perfume bottle stage by stage. (Stages 1-3) I didn't finish this one yet,
so the finished product will probably appear on my Instagram. I'm obsessed with Victorian times and I wanted to sketch something that captured the beauty, mystery and allurement of the period. I added a backdrop of roses to the piece to make it fuller. The bird in the perfume bottle is a tip of the hat to Sweeney Todd and Joanne who sings of being a caged bird, as it's one of my favourite period films. It also is an "Easter Egg" for the Sleepy Hallow film, as the bird in a cage is featured in the form of a flip piece of art.

I hope to do another Dan the Doodlebug for you guys in the future!
Thanks to all the viewers and those who leave comments on my work! :)
It's great to see all your thoughts!
See you guys for Mental Health Mondays!
