Little By Little / SickBoy Merch 😘

Hey, Guys! 
It's the 1st of January and that means in 29 days time Little by Little will be released
worldwide! I think this is my favourite collection I've done in a long time. Not that I 
wasn't happy with my other releases, I'm just ultra proud of this one. It took a little 
bit longer to write than my last mini book that I released in May.

This new release reaches a new level deep inside me and also inspired other works 
that I'm currently creating. I wanted to do something different for this book, but still keep it in my usual themes, you know with the breaks which paint the backdrop of the book. Actually, 
for the most part all of the verses I’ve published have been a sort of biography for me.
Like how bands poor their own lives into their songs, I do the same things with my
poems and verses. So rather than put the table of contents in the front of the book, I put it in the back and decided to go with roman numerals, rather than the traditional numbering system we use. I wanted to do something that I think is unique with my work to reflect the uniqueness that is me. 
After my last mini release, Dopamine, I wanted to kind of keep working and playing with themes of love, sex, devotion and devastation. I liked the idea of them and I still do. I love how the emotions twist together and become a sort of chaotic soup that we ingest. We walk a difficult line with this brew; it's either all sustaining or poison. I love that kind of duality, especially when it comes to existence, as we really are just balanced between planes. I didn’t want to do another release of just that kind of material, so I encased new ideas of philosophy and expanded on some older notions of that and existentialism that I’d been toying with for several years. 

I wanted to express part of what I wasn’t able to with Dopamine. I wasn’t able to because emotionally, I wasn’t really as clear as I am now. The pain of loss was too fresh and the wounds were still bleeding. After almost a half a year of reflecting on everything that was, everything that happened and all of that, I’m able to embrace that love for what it was and what it never was. I’ve got someone new who’s captured my attention and has planted seeds in my heart. 
It’s a different kind of love. It’s more pure than the last. The two couldn’t be more different. Sometimes it strikes me funny how I could fall for two completely different people. I met them at two very different times in my life. Before I was so young, so inexperienced in life, but now I’m older and wiser. I’m approaching this with a more level head and more realistic expectations. 

The intermissions are actually a backdrop to everything going on in the book. They are taken from therapy sessions I’ve had in the past. The intermissions are breaks from the regular life depicted in the text. The writing style is like that of a music album. They’re a collections of ideas, memories, feelings and sensations that come together to paint a unique painting; for each reader, they walk away with something different. I love to write in this style. I feel that it affords me more creative liberties and I’m not really confined into a single box. I suppose I could write a book or just depressive verses or just love verses, but where’s the fun in that? Where’s the truth in that? Life isn’t just one of those things. It’s a giant mess of everything and that's what I want to portray in my work.

Re-Issue of the Hemoglobin Chronicles will be out this year as well. There have been issues
with the company producing the book and they lost the Instant Karma Just Add Milk book, so I had to re-do that on my other account. It is available on the blurb.de account, since I was living there and commuting to London during that time frame. Questions? Let me know! Please don't buy the works via eBay as so many of them are not true companies, you get ripped off and I don't get paid. :/

I've got Zazzle going and since its a US based site, I wanted to stick with the US version, which is why prices are shown in USD, but you can pay in your own currency and they do ship worldwide. I've also reached out to work with District Lines to share some of my favourite pieces! That will be available in UK pound, but I think you can switch it to your own currency. They're one of my favourite UK-based companies at the moment. As things expand I'll let you all know!

Thank you all for all the support and views you gave me over the last year and to those who hung out with me while I was touring around! I'm looking forward to some awesome tour adventures this year! The first tour coming up is a mini tour called "Anja Absinthe Presents: Dan and lil Phil GO MAPLE" and lil Phil and I tour to Montréal, Toronto and Niagara Falls!
