Bling Boy

I've got new earrings! I have several holes in my ears, not just the double tragus piercings, the daith piercing and the standard few lobes, I mean all the way up they are pierced. One ear has a few more holes than the other. It's rare these days that I wear earrings in all the holes. It takes like a card of like 16 pairs to fill up my ears. Usually, I just have the gold horseshoe jewellery in my second hole, leaving the first hole to have some snazzy goth roses, my adorable opal mice, upside down frowny faces (a testament to who I am inside) or bats. Those are the things that I usually rock.
I love to support small businesses; probably because I own one myself. While looking through Etsy the other week I found the cutest listing for pride earrings. I know, I know, been talking a real lot about pride on the blog these days. I promise this will be the last one for a while. I saw the listing featured sets. I knew I didn't want to have to buy two sets just to wear one of each earring that I wanted, so I contacted the shop owner/creator and asked if they would be willing to sell me one of the rainbow heart and one of the pink, white and blue hearts. They wrote me back roughly two hours later-I was surprised at how fast I received an answer back! They said they would be happy to make me a custom pair. They created a listing for me and sent me the link so that check out would be easy and speedy for me. I put the order through and less than 24 hours later, I was getting a shipping notification. I don't think I've ever had a personalised item ever ship so fast before. It was only 4, maybe 5 days later when I got the package in the post. I ripped it open, beyond eager.

Wow. They're bigger than I thought they'd be but I can't wait to wear them to work tomorrow. The colours are brilliant, vibrant and so cute. I love retro video game styles and that's what their hearts are done as; adorable little pixel trans pride and LGBTQ+ (or simply gay) pride. I put them in my ears and they're comfortable. Sometimes handmade things aren't as comfortable, I dunno why. They're so light it's like I'm not even wearing anything. I love that. I don't want to know that I have earrings in. Maybe that's strange, I dunno. I posted some pics on my Facebook and Instagram, gaining a positive review and a few questions about them so I decided to do a blog on the earrings, show them off, talk about the purchase experience and rate them. Down below are the links where you can check out their personal Etsy page and their shop. Custom orders are available for certain items, just message! What would I rate these adorable little hearts? I give them 10 pixels out of 10. They are just fuckin' ace.
