VeggieReviews: Lenny & Larry's Complete Cookie (Chocolate Chip)

I'm always looking for new things to include in my diet when I'm strapped for time that are healthy and vegan. I don't want to fill up on crap foods that leave me feeling worse about myself after. If you guys have suggestions do tweet them to me! I tried the complete cookie on a whim. I was going through a shop after getting off a long shift and was looking for something sweet. (Yeah, not the best I know.) I'm not really into nutrition bars; often they are filled with all kinds of sugar that I really don't want to eat or they taste like dust. I grabbed one of the cookies, seeing that it was something chocolate chip and vegan. I liked that it had a decent amount of protein in it, I didn't like the amount of sugar in it, but the cookie was good. I really enjoyed it. Actually, I couldn't finish it. I never can finish one of their massive cookies. I always have to save half of it for later. The cookie is about the size of my hand, just a little smaller so you can imagine that. Breaking it in half and eating the other half later in the day is the best way to balance out the sugar in the cookie. I hope they make a lower sugar version, but I don't think I'd be able to eat that bastard in one go either. Haha.
The cookie is soft, but not chewy and gummy like similar products can be. I was really happy about that. I'm not a crunchy cookie/biscuit kind of guy. Some protein foods are just too goddamn dry. Has anyone else had that problem? The taste is good, similar to a chocolate chip cookie, but has kind of a dough like texture in your mouth. The chocolate isn't overly sweet either. Nice mix. Would I buy it again? You bet! I have. I've also looked at their other flavours. I didn't know they had more than just cookies! They have a range of products, like cookie bites, muffins and more. I'd never seen them at any of my local shops so I had no idea until I went on their website. I'm going to give this a 5/5 veggies. I might do reviews on the other cookies once I try them; not too sure on that one, it will depend on how well this blog goes. I don't want to waste my time doing a review if no one is interested in it, especially when I have quite a few other blogs to finish and do. There's like 22 of them...I keep adding to the list so it like never goes down.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm dying to try the choc-o-mint cookies and the chocolate doughnut cookies. I've not seen them in shops near me so I may have to order them.
