Danny & Pork Chop Go To Ottawa!

I've got some exciting news to share with you guys! Pork Chop and I are headed to the Canadian Capital! I've never been there so I'm really excited to head there and see what the city has to offer! I've been to half, maybe more than half of all the capital cities in Europe, so I think it's time I add this one to the list! I've been to the American capital once, but it was a brief trip. Maybe one day I will head back there. Who knows? In order to make this day trip to Ottawa happen, I've had to move some things around. The entire day of 10 June will be dedicated to heading there so all of the events scheduled that day will be absorbed into other days. All of the places will be pushed into the existing events that are close in proximity. Times will be adjusted by a half hour to an hour if close events are added into the day. The 10th was just like a quick fill day, but now doing this day trip, I feel energised and excited. I'm really looking forward to it.

Ottawa Insectarium

It would be a trip without some nature, now would it? I'm gonna check out some insects, creepy crawlies and more at the Insectarium in Ottawa. I realised that the one in Montreal won't be open when I visit (I read the wrong time) so I wanted to be able to find something else and I have during this day trip! I can't wait to see all the little critters :DD

Canadian Museum of Nature / Musée Canadien de la nature

I'm a complete sucker for these kinds of places. I actually look for natural history museums when I plan any sort of tour or trip. The places make me happy and I feel like I'm somehow included in life. It's a warm feeling inside. Best of all? There are dinosaurs. 

Following this, I'm going to take some time to adventure around Chinatown and Little Italy. I've always loved these sections of cities. London and New York City have my favourite Chinatown ever. I can't wait to take some photos and explore these places. I'm deffo going to be grabbing some vegan ice-cream at Moo Shu Ice-Cream! It's only 600 metres from the museum! Check out their menu below.
