DELECTABLES WITH DAN PRESENTS:
THIRSTY BOII
THIRSTY BOII
1. RASPBERRY/ LIME FUSION
2. ORANGE & GINGER DREAM
3. STRAWBERRY & LIME
We're not going to be using all the fruits pictured in this shot, but there will be more varieties coming next week featuring them, Don't worry! Make sure that as soon as you finish preparing the waters and using the fruits, you put them immediately in the fridge to keep them cold.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
3-4 Water Bottles (litre size, or 3-4 water pitchers.)
A sharp knife
Apple corner (if not you can hand slice the apples and remove the seeds with a knife)
Greater
**When you fill your bottles/pitchers with water make sure that you leave enough room for the fruit slices. You don't want that shit overflowing all over the counter.**
Raspberry Lime Fusion
You will need half of one small lime and 5 raspberries. Be careful when you are slicing your lime, you want to use really thin slices here. You don't want a giant chunk of lime floating around in your water. Place them into the container, they will sink to the bottom. Add your barries to the water; they tend to float around the top. Tightly seal your container and put it in the fridge to keep cold.
Orange & Ginger Dream
For this one, we're going to thinly slice the orange the way we did the lime; yes leave the skin of the orange on as you carefully slice through it. Try not to jerk the knife so that the slices come out even. Set them to the side. Taking the same knife, cut off one of the edges of the ginger root; you just need to remove the tiniest little bit. Use the greater to grate fresh ginger into the water. Be sure to carefully tap the back of the greater so that you get the amount of ginger you desire. I used 1/4 of a teaspoon. Once you've done that, plop in your orange slices, tightly seal the bottle and put it in the fridge to chill.
BONUS DRINK
Fresh Brewed Tea with Raspberry & Lemon slices
Take regular tea, bring the water to a boil. Fill half a pitcher with boiling water. Set 2-3 teabags into the water, stirring the bags with a mixing spoon.Let them soak in the water for a good 5 minutes or so before removing them with a slotted spoon. Drain all the essence out of the teabag by squeezing them over the mouth of the container, like when you're squeezing the neck of an ex-lover or, for the other members of this audience, the hooker you had sex with but don't want to pay. Yeah, squeeze that shit good and tight. Throw the bags in the bin (hey that works for the euphemisms too!) Add some thinly sliced lemons (2-4 slices depending on your preference) and then add roughly 10 raspberries. You have the option of using strawberries instead. Put in fridge to chill.

Strawberry Lime
You will need half of one small lime (use the rest from the first recipe if you're making all three of these) and 3 small strawberries for this. The idea is to get the flavour of the barries without crushing them. First I add the lime to the bottom of the bottle or pitcher and add the water. Lime can be tricky to work with if it's left sitting out or in the water like what we're going to be doing here. It almost gives it a sort of pine taste. We don't want that. If we were in the mood for something like that we could order a gin and tonic with a hint of lime or a Pinesaul Chaser. Thinly slice your strawberries and add them to the water; like the raspberries, they will float on top of the water.
