Lady Liberty Collection

I'm happy to announce that my recent trip to New York City has been an inspiring one. New York has an amazing energy that differs from every city. You can feel the energy in the air, the trials and tribulations of the masses-both remembered and forgotten-decorate the walls of the city. During this recent trip, I took the ferry out to Liberty Island to visit the Statue of Liberty. I've not been there since I was a small child on one of the few family trips we ever took. The frozen air of the New York City Harbour wasn't the only thing that caught the breath in the back of my throat as I took in the statue before me. The vibrant blue colour of the sky felt more like spring than late autumn, but as another cold blast moved between the layers I had on was a swift reminder of the time. Time...how many years have past since I last locked eyes with Lady Liberty? While I've changed over the years, her look of strong deternimation, courage and proseperance hasn't. I wondered how many people had looked up into her eyes over the years and what she meant to them. Survival? Freedom? Liberty? Each of the founding principles that helped lay the framework of a nation. With that said, I'd like to announce a short four piece collection, Lady Liberty.
