The Candy Floss Incident

Right, so my birthday is coming up (3 October) and my sister knew that I was going to

be away, so she decided to give me my treats now. (Also so she could share them with me.)

She knows that I love candy floss and trying all the new flavours (within reason!!) and she

got me „Spider Web Cotton Candy“. At first, I was like, „What the fuck? It tastes of a spider’s 

web?!“ Then I saw on the lower right-hand side of the bag it read „sour apple.“ I live for almost

all things sour, so I took this as a bit of a personal challenge. MISTAKE. Oh, my God was that 

ever a mistake. Now, I’ve fucked up an unimaginable number of things during my almost 25 years

on this Earth, but this one manages to rank up there with them. 

In my eagerness to try this new thing, I ripped off a large chunk and popped it in my mouth. It felt

like acid had been dripped onto my tongue. My eyes started to water and I felt a bizarre tickling in the back of my sinus cavity. 'What the everlasting fuck did I just do?" I knew my mate wouldn't believe me, so I took a wondrous selfie to show her my sour face. Peaches just happened to come into

my room to ask me something when she saw me like this and making a horrid squeaking sound. She watched with amusement as I guzzled down the contents of my water bottle.
Peaches found the entire thing hilarious as I showed her the photo I took and re-tried to floss right in

front of her so she could see it was a genuine face. In the end, I gave her the other half of it because she loves stuff like that.

I'm not sure I want to eat any more of the ultra-sour apple 

floss for a while!

floss with my sister, Cotton and dad, Lennon. I have no idea

why we are wearing matching "Las Vegas" t-shirts as we'd never

been there...I only went years later when I was 23! And Cotton has 

never been there. This was around 1996-1997.
