NEW PROJECST IN THE WORKS
Hey everybody, I've got some great news! I've got some new projects in the works! With any luck this year I will be finishing Paper Hearts and will be releasing Dan's High Flying Adventures! I'm also looking at launching new photos on my photography site and launching a merch line that features some of my artwork! I'm also working on a photography project. With all this going on, I'm actually starting to plan a mini-tour for the summer! Yes, you heard right, the boys are headed back to the land of the Maple Leaf.
I'm already almost a quarter of the way through Dan's High Flying Adventures. I do have a bit of research to fo on it and a few more pieces to actually write for the book, but overall, it's going really well. It features content from the blog as well as other funny little stories of being high, information about edibles, smoking and other things that I've tried. The book is in full colour and features artwork at the beginning of each new "chapter" or "high". I'm really looking forward to getting this out there. I've wanted to do a project like this for quite some time. A blog to book project can be a little difficult because, in a blog, you're writing for a live audience of many and in the book, everything is more past tense I guess? Like it's not a high that just happened that I'm writing to share with you guys.
Let's see what else.
Now that I've finished coming out (took me long enough didn't it) I'm also wanting to let you guys know I'm working on a book that chronicles not only my coming out but my transition as well! I explore everything from childhood to the present in the entire book I've dubbed "Becoming Daniel". Some parts have been harder to write, obviously, but so far it's going well. I'm liking to write as my journey progresses so that I don't forget important things.
Last year was a turning point for me. I came out about being transgender and bisexual and only a few days ago explored a deeper aspect of my sexuality which will be featured in the book. I'm going to have to re-write certain sections of the blog based on what I'd already written. I actually started the project in June of 2019 whist in Ottawa or Montreal; I can't remember which city it was.

Speaking of Canada and tours, I'm looking to go Montreal again for a quick little trip, then head off to Ottawa for a longer stay and Toronto as well. Do you guys have any suggestions for where I might wanna go and where I should visit? I'm really looking forward to going back. It's an amazing country and I've never not had a good time there. Either comment or DM so I can read through any and all suggestions about Canadian travel. My new passport featuring my new name and gender marker is in the works and I couldn't be more excited! Which reminds me...I have other news to share with you guys...
